The hotel location was great for visiting the famous Panda sanctuary, which was only a short walk away. The bus station right in front of the hotel was also a plus, making it easy to travel early and beat the crowds. There were a few local restaurants nearby that served delicious, cheap and local food. The room was clean and the shower spacious.
The hotel is located a bit far from the airport and the city center, making it difficult to find and expensive to get around. The neighborhood was quite residential, and finding food and drink options was limited, especially if you don't speak Chinese.

Had a great Christmas stay at this boutique hotel located near the Panda Sanctuary. Conveniently close to the bus station, which allowed us to beat the crowds, and there were a few local restaurants in the area for cheap and delicious eats. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful with translation apps when needed.
The location was a bit far from the airport and other sightseeing locations, and some taxi drivers had trouble finding the place. the shower being on the balcony was a bit strange, especially watching traffic go by, and it may not be ideal for colder months.
